Perhaps I'm overlooking something, but on its own the version number of an installed driver doesn't indicate whether it's Studio or Game Ready, does it? The download options for my 1070 card all currently show both editions of the driver for every version number that comes up in the search results.Īlso, everything on NVIDIA's site seems to use their xxx.xx nomenclature for driver versions. Apparently cards not in the 1XXX series and later cannot use Studio drivers.
I assume the Studio Driver has a different # than the Gaming driver.īefore I updated my video card to the GTX 1660S, my newest card was a 970. There you will be able to find the driver version.
